Activities

Dr. Ratti is the spokesperson and co-PI on this NSF-funded CSSI project, the Modular Unified Solver of the Equation of State, that serves the nuclear and astrophysics communities by providing a software that generates an equation of state for strongly interacting matter that covers the whole QCD phase diagram. For more information visit: https://muses.physics.illinois.edu/

Dr. Ratti is co-PI on this NSF-funded Focused Research Hub project, the Nuclear Physics from Multi-Messenger Mergers, that brings together nuclear theorists, astrophysicists, gravitational wave physicists and phenomenologists to address exciting topics such as the internal composition of compact stellar objects, the gravitational wave signal of neutron star mergers, the equation of state and the nature of matter at extremely high densities and temperatures and many more. NSF CAREER Award Project "Properties of strongly interacting matter from first principles"

Since 2017, Dr. Ratti is the PI on this NSF-funded project, that has been producing important results from first principles, in support of the experimental heavy ion projects at RHIC and and the LHC.

NuSTEAM - Nuclear Science in Texas to Enhance and Advance Minorities

Dr. Ratti is the PI on this DOE-funded project, that brings together 4 Texas Universities and Brookhaven National Laboratory, to train a diverse workforce in Nuclear Physics. For more information visit: https://www.uh.edu/NSM/Physics/nusteam
