Physics Education Research and study of self-assembly using x-ray diffraction. 

Teaching Interests:
I use interactive and collaborative teaching methods in my introductory physics classes.  I also apply collaborative learning techniques in my upper level classes, such as Advanced Lab and Solid State Physics.
