Caveat

The homework solutions provided by the textbook publisher are particularly unsuited to my instructional approach and objectives. Specifically, the problems are done numerically instead of symbolically. DO NOT USE THIS APPROACH. It is required for you to use the symbolic  or algebraic approach emphasized in class.
