Caycel Desales

Caycel Desales is an undergraduate student majoring in Biotechnology and minoring in Computer Science at the University of Houston. Caycel joined the lab in January of 2021, and is broadly interested in computational biology and using computers to solve biological problems. He is working with Lorissa Saiz to uncover the causative variant of bruno-dependent tolerance.
