Llewellyn Green

Post-Doctoral Associate

I’m originally from Central Victoria in Australia, but I have moved around quite a bit. I received my PhD in the evolutionary genetics of pesticide resistance from The University of Melbourne in 2018; and I subsequently trained as a postdoctoral researcher in the González Lab at the Institute de Biologica Evolutiva, studying transposable elements and stress.

I joined the Kelleher Lab in 2021 and am now exploring other aspects on transposable element biology.

In my free time I enjoy attempting various outdoor sports and practicing martial arts (badly)
