Enrico T. Nadres was born in Philippines. He graduated as Bachelor in Agricultural Chemistry at University of the Philippines Los BaƱos. In 2007, he began his studies in chemistry at the University of Houston. In the Daugulis group at UH, he investigated palladium-catalyzed C-H bond functionalization reactions. After earning his doctorate degree in 2012, he journeyed north, to the University of Michigan and worked with Prof. Kenichi Kuroda to design and synthesize bioactive polymers. Subsequently, hearing the call of the Great State of Texas, he came back to Houston, holding a research position at the UH Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. In this capacity, his research centered around synthesis of polymers and nanoparticles that are geared towards environmental applications. Around this time, he also served as a Lead Chemist of startup company WAVVE.
After working as a R&D Chemist at 3V Sigma in  Georgetown, SC, he came back to Texas once more and is currently an Engineering Manager at Baker Hughes in Houston.
