Thanh Le

Thanh Le was born in Vietnam. He obtained his B.S in Chemical Engineering from the University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh City in 2018. After graduation, he worked as a research assistant in Dr. Truong’s lab at the same university. In Fall of 2019, he came to the United States and joined the Daugulis research group. He is currently focusing his research on developing methods for ortho-functionalization of pentafluorosulfanyl arenes, and exploring copper-catalyzed polyfluoroalkylation of C(sp3)-H bond by carbene insertion.
