Rich Meisel is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology and Biochemistry at the University of Houston.

Rich completed his postdoctoral training with Andy Clark in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Cornell University. He earned a B.A. in Biology from Cornell and a Ph.D. in Genetics from Penn State University, working with Steve Schaeffer.
