Women in Physics Welcome Luncheon - Every year the women faculty in physics invites incoming women graduate students to a lunch with fellow graduate students, postdocs, and faculty. The lunch allows for introductions, building contacts, discuss leadership opportunities in WiPS, and presenting WiPS as a safe space for women in the department to discuss any issues.

WiPS-UH and UH Physics is launching the 'Women in Physics Speaker Series'. The first talk will be delivered by Prof. Jacinta Conrad , followed by a 'meet the speaker' session for students. The aim is to highlight the careers of women physicists and learn from their experiences. See flyer for details.
