At the University of Houston, Dr. Ratti has been teaching the following courses:
- Introductory Physics 1 (Algebra Based)
- Introduction to Particle Physics (undergraduate)
- Quantum Mechanics 1 and 2 (graduate)
- Methods of Mathematical Physics (graduate)
- Quantum Field Theory 1 and 2 (graduate)
- Introduction to Quantum Chromodynamics (graduate)

Dr. Ratti regularly teaches at summer schools and doctoral training programs. Typical topics are introductions to lattice QCD, the QCD phase diagram, QCD under extreme conditions of temperature and density. 

Dr. Ratti also teaches Introduction to the standard model of particle physics for the NuSTEAM summer program.
